Construction Cards

This CSCS card is valid for 5 years and is for laboring work. People without NVQ/SVQ and other construction qualifications can apply for this card. In order to obtain this card, you need to pass Operative CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test and also complete One Day Health & Safety Awareness Course or Level 1 Award Course in Health & Safety

This card is valid for 6 months and can only be issued once, In order to obtain this card, you need to pass Operative CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test 

This card can be applied if you are registered or pursuing your construction qualification (NVQ/SVQ/Citi&Guilds). The card is valid for 5 years and is non-renewable. You must also pass Operative CITB Health, Safety &Environment Test.

This  card can be applied if you are registered and commenced on a recognized apprenticeship scheme. The card is valid for 4 years and six months and is non-renewable. You must also pass Operative CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test.

This card is for experienced job workers with at least one to three years of work experience and currently registered for the relevant construction related NVQ or SVQ. The card is valid for one year and is non-renewable. You also need to pass Operative CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test

This card is for people who have achieved a construction related NVQ/SVQ Level 1. The card is valid for 5 Years and is renewable. You need to pass Operative CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test to obtain this card.

This card is for people who have achieved a construction related NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or Citi&Guilds Craft Certificate. The card is valid for 5 Years and is renewable. You also need to pass Operative CITB Health, Safety &Environment Test.

This card is for people who have achieved a construction related NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or Citi&Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate. The card is valid for 5 Years and is renewable. You also need to pass Operative CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test to obtain this card.

This card is for supervisor occupations for individuals who have achieved a construction related supervisory NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or 4. The card is valid for 5 Years and is renewable. You also need to pass Supervisors CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test to obtain the card.

This card is for those who wish to work as a manager on construction sites. They need to have a construction related NVQ/SVQ Level 4 or above in construction management. The card is valid for 5 Years and is renewable. You also need to pass CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment Test.

This Academically Qualified Person card is for those who have completed certain construction related degrees, HNDs, HNCs and CIOB Certificates. The card is valid for 5 Years. You also need to pass CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment Test in order to obtain this card.

This Professionally Qualified Person card is for those who are qualified members of CSCS approved Professional Bodies and can provide evidence like certificates, member’s card and email from professional body. The card is valid for 5 Years. In order to get this card, you also need to pass CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment Test.

This card is for those who visit the construction sites frequently, but have no construction specific qualification and skill. This card doesn’t allow the holder to engage in any tool related construction work in any manner. The card is valid for 5 Years and is renewable. You also need to pass CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test.
